Planet Ark National Tree Day - August 2009

True to the Altis Environment Policy, our most recent staff social event had a decidedly green feel about it. On Sunday 2nd August 2009, staff and their families from Altis' Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra offices got together to participate in the Planet Ark National Tree Day.

Our Auckland office was quicker off the mark with their green social event held in June.

The Sydney team helped plant trees in Trumper Park in Paddington;

The Canberra office crew helped plant trees at Mount Majura;

Native grass seedlings were planted at Albert Park by the Melbourne team;

The hard work of the morning was capped off by each of our hungry teams with a restaurant visit in Canberra, pizza in the park in Sydney and a BBQ in the park in Melbourne.

Thanks to the representatives of the Altis Green Team (Paul, Samantha, Florencio and Matheus) for organising a great day for each office and thanks to Planet Ark for such a wonderful event; we're already looking forward to next year's event!
