Thursday 21st June saw the Melbourne team hit the Big House…yes that’s right the Crown Casino for a Bowling and Lazer Skirmish night.
After a casual start things got a little competitive with Sanjika showing some promising technique and some powerful bowling by Nathan. Louis was favouring the gutters whilst Scott was too busy trying to throw the fastest ball. Sanjika won the day.
After the bowling we moved upstairs to the Lazer skirmish. We could see it in Sanjika’s eyes that he wanted to continue his winning form. The game included commando rolls from Sanjika and stealth attacks by Randima. Sanjika reigned supreme on the lazer shooting as well!
A fun time was had by all.
On Thursday the 28th of June the Sydney team set out to Manhattan Superbowl for an afternoon of Ten Pin Bowling. While the alcohol was flowing and the music was playing mostly 80's hits from Michael Jackson to Tina Turner the staff began their singing, oh and there was a little bowling. Derek and Samantha won trophies for best bowlers of the day.
The memorable moments that stand out have to be Charlie getting a few strikes by using the famous technique of bowling under the leg, Samantha polishing everyone's bowling balls as good luck, Natalie's bowling ball flying backwards as she was ready to bowl, and then there where a few that were so bad we would rather not mention any names...
