On Friday the 12th February 2010, the Altis Kojaks from the Sydney office took part in the World’s Greatest Shave. Roy, Dario, Charlie and Daniel G donated much if not all of their hair for this good cause.
For those that don’t know, funds raised help the Leukaemia Foundation to provide practical care and support to patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
To many people’s delight, they watched and cheered as the 4 Kojaks were shaved down to a number 1 (or in Roy’s case #0). In fact, there was so much enthusiasm that people were literally gunning for that razor to have a go at shaving someone’s head. All in all it was a great afternoon, with the “Hoff” donning the BBQ apron and preparing a feast on the barbeque.
The team was greatly supported by other Altis team members as well as friends and family, and the end the Altis Kojaks we were able to raise a total of $2,716.37. Thanks again to everyone who took part and to those who sponsored us.
