Kick-off World Cup

Altis Consulting employees at World Cup PartyOn the 25th June, our troop headed down to Bisq, a Brazilian restaurant specializing in “churrasco” (Brazilian-style BBQ), for what would become a very unique experience involving good food, football, a very cheerful atmosphere, and great fun – it doesn’t get more Brazilian than that. The plan was to have churrasco for dinner and then watch Brazil x Portugal.

For those of you not familiar with the Brazilian BBQ experience, here’s a crash course: Firstly, get a large group of friends – make sure it contains at least 10 people. Once you’re all seated, order some drinks (caipirinha is recommended) and go to the buffet to fill your plate with side dishes. Now you’re ready to sit again and wait for the meat to be served at your table.

Special mention to the spit-roasted chicken hearts, which were proven and approved by all. Yes, chicken hearts are a very typical and tasty part of any Brazilian churrasco.

The FIFA World Cup is here to deprive us from sleep, warm up our hearts and allow us to show our true colours.
Needless to say, fun was had by all and it was a delight to see so many people from many different backgrounds together to watch the match and celebrate joy, diversity and passion for “the beautiful game”. Alas, the match ended 0 x 0 with a very mediocre performance by Brazil and Portugal.
