On Sunday 1st Aug, our Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra teams and their families got out of bed early to plant trees as part of the Planet Ark National Tree Day.
The Sydney team helped plant trees in Berry Island Reserve in Wollstonecraft:

The Canberra office crew got 30 minutes into their event at Mount Majura when the rain came… and stayed. The rain also kept the electronic gadgets away so no pictures. This didn’t stop the kids having fun though as evidenced by some of their quotes:
Emma aged 10: “All in all it was fun, wet, cold and AWESOME!”
Isobel aged 10: “If it was good weather than I would do It for ever. It was a great experience and I hope it helped with the environment. It was loads of fun!”
The Melbourne team bounced out of bed early to plant trees at Point Gellibrand Park Association, Williamstown, only to be greeted by driving rain and a cancelled event. Better luck next year.
Thanks to the representatives of the Altis Green Team (Samantha, Florencio and Matheus) for organising the day for each office and thanks also to Planet Ark for staging this great event.
Altis are proud to be involved in activities that contribute positively to our environment.
